Hi, new members here from San Diego. We are excited to start our overland adventure. We just bought our 2022 4runner and are in the process of building it out. We would appreciate any advice from the community since we have never done anything like this before and we have TONS of questions. Looking for any kinds of group trips around SoCal so we can learn before trying anything more serious alone.
Thanks!

Hello everyone, my name is Steve and I live inNorthern Oregon above Portland. I've been Jeepin and fishing for 40 plus yrs. Currently drive a 2001 Jeep Cherokee that has a 3in RC lift with 31x10.5 Toyo tires. Love to find new trails and fishing spots.

Hello OTG group! My name is Jason and I'm from Acton, CA. I grew up Jeepin for over 20 years and no longer have one. Hopefully someday again. I've also done lots of camping and BDR'S off of motorcycles. Anyway, I am currently have a 2006 Ford F-350. Sometimes I will ground tent or bring the OEV Camp-X.

I've been watching many of the YouTube videos which has inspired me to explore some more. Hopefully I can meet up with you guys on a future run.

Whats up fellow car and outdoor enthusiasts. Found the group through the YouTube and the Shasta Trinity trail. Super excited.
I am Pete, and have a couple different vehicles to use.
My wife and my twin girls have some great memories camping and 4wheeling.
We have a
2018 Prospector XL Ram 2500
2017 Toyota 4Runner (Wife's Daily)
2002 Chevy Avalanche (Participated in 2020 Overland Adventure in)
1985 Toyota Pickup (rock crawler)
1974 FJ40 Land Cruiser (rock crawler)
I plan on going to the PNW Overland Expo with a couple buddies. But my favorite is in anywhere in the Sierras.

Hello, I recently ran across OTG while putting together some routes and kept seeing OTG's GPX tracks of the same routes that I wanted to do so I felt that this group is worth checking! My wife and I are semi-retired (e.g. empty nestors) living in Granite Bay, CA looking to explore whatever's out there to see as we finally have some time to do it. I have a 09 4 Runner Trail Edition that is set up well for the majorty of most trails that we have encounter thus far. We love exploring California, Nevada and Utah and look foward to seeing you all on the trail. We just got back from the Mojave Trail and Death Valley in March and have an awesome trip planned in June to British Columbia, Vancover Island and the San Juan Islands.

Hello everyone, I'm from Southern California and looking forward to exploring in the coming months, especially North from where I am as I haven't ventured out those areas much. I've been off-roading/disperse camping for many years, usually an extended weekend trip every 2 months used to be the norm till Covid hit and then the frequency dropped to 2 trips/year due to work mainly.

I am planning to get back into it as there is so much to explore. My vehicle is a Toyota Tacoma and I also have an adv bike. I appreciate the route details on the website which are very informative and well written. Hope to connect with some of you as well.

Hi I'm Matt, I'm new here but have been around the off-road, camping, overland scene for many years.
I live in La Mirada, CA. That's roughly 20 miles East of Los Angeles and right next to the Orange County line.
I'm currently fast tracking a build of my 2022 4Runner after passing along my well built '14 Jeep JKU to my son
Prior to that Jeep, I've owned a GMC Sierra 4x4, 1st Gen Tundra, Jeep YJ, and a couple of old Scouts. I have done trails all over the Southwest,
Some of favorite trips in recent years have been multi-day trips, one exploring the Panamint Mountains along the West side of Death Valley, The Black Canyon area of AZ where we spent a week exploring trails between Prescott and Phoenix. I do a lot of 1-3 day exploration trips in the local mountains and deserts. Exploring a new area and finding a good trout stream next to a great campsite is about as good as it gets for me.
In the coming year I hope to explore more of Death Vally, and possibly do the El Camino Del Diablo with my nephew, son and brother.
